Hello all Fox Terrier enthusiasts,
I have taken on the position of Secretary of the Fox Terrier Club and let you know the Annual General Meeting and General Meeting will be held at the Spring Fair Dog Show (Saturday 2nd September) – after Smooth and Wire Fox Terrier judging). I would like to make this a yearly event and also incorporate our Specialty show on this same weekend.
Please find attached the nomination forms to become a member of the committee as well as the meeting agenda.
So far we have had the following new people come forward :
President – Christophe Duval
Secretary – Leanne Duval
Treasurer – Sue jolly
Committee – Liz Mansfield, Leah Rushforth, Simon and Brooke Mills
We would welcome the current committee to continue with us.
On this agenda is a notice of motion to request to change our Champ Show to the Spring Fair weekend in 2018. (This means we will not have a show at Easter or October in 2018 onwards. This also means we will be able to subcontract an overseas judge each year and provide a number of shows for Fox Terrier people to enter).
A notice of motion is also made to have a yearly meeting/and AGM at the Spring Fair Dog show each year.
Skype meetings will be conducted at point of need.
If the members agree with the change, I will start fundraising to secure the sub contract fees to the Spring Fair Dog Show as well as apply to Dogs NSW to change our show date and hold our show at the Spring Fair.
Please note memberships are due June 30th. In an effort to increase our membership, our fee will be $5. please encourage as many people as possible to join our club. Cheques can be posted to me at 11 Wattle crescent, Glossodia 2756 or a direct deposit into the clubs account.
I am really looking forward to working for the club and continue the wonderful work of Olive Black, Rebecca Preece and Sue jolly.
Don’t forget our next show will be held October 14th 2017. The schedule will be listed on ozentries.
